The Faculty of Choreography Art includes the following departments:
- Department of Folk Choreography
- Department of Contemporary and Ballroom Choreography
- Department of Physical Education and Health

Borys Kolnoguzenko is one of the most famous choreographers of Ukraine and Europe. He is an Honorary citizen of Kharkiv region, People's Artist of Ukraine, winner of 19 international competitions, professor, full member of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, member of the Presidium of the National Choreographic Union of Ukraine.

The Faculty offers three bachelor's degrees: "Folk Choreography", "Contemporary Choreography", "Ballet Choreography" (4 years). Students can earn a master's degree in "Choreography" (1.5 years).

Well known in Ukraine and beyond are "Zapovit" folk dance theatre (artistic director: B. Kolnoguzenko), "ESTET" contemporary dance ensemble (artistic director and principal choreographer: O. Yanina-Ledovska) and "Creative" ballroom dance ensemble (artistic director: Z. Nosova).
