The Department is proud of its Academic choir of students (Conductor – Viacheslav Boiko; Choirmaster – Viktoriia Voskoboinikova; Accompanier – Iryna Zapara). The choir has established a high professional level due to participation in numerous international and Ukrainian competitions. The research topic “The Choral Culture of Ukraine: History and Modernity” of the Department focuses on the study of Ukrainian and world choral culture in historical retrospective. The Department's creative and performing work is an integral part of the educational, methodological and research process of training future conductors.
