In 2026, KhSAC is admitting to graduate school in the following scientific specialties:
- В5 Musical Art (entrance exam program)
- В12 Cultural Studies (entrance exam program)
- В13 Information, library and archival activities (entrance exam program)

The term of postgraduate study in full-time and part-time forms of education does not exceed four years, except for the conditions stipulated by the current legislation of Ukraine.
Persons with higher education and specialist or master's qualifications (NRQ 7) are admitted to postgraduate studies on a competitive basis.
Registration of applications and acceptance of documents for the postgraduate program of the KhSAC is carried out from August 7 to 25, 2026. Entrance exams are held from August 26 to September 7, 2026, enrollment is until September 16, 2026.
Entrance exams for admission to the KhSAC for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialties B5 "Musical Art", B12 "Cultural Studies and Museology", B13 "Library, Information and Archival Studies" based on the NRK7 are conducted as: external assessment in the form of EVI, EVV and assessment at the KhSAC in the form of an entrance exam in the specialty, an interview on professional issues and a scientific essay, an exam in philosophy.
For competitive selection for studies for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the specialties B5 "Musical Art", B12 "Cultural Studies and Museology", B13 "Library, Information and Archival Studies" the results are used: 2026 EVI or 2025 EVI, or 2024 EVI (general academic competence test (TGNC) of the unified entrance exam and a foreign language test of the unified entrance exam - in total at least 300 points); 2026 EVI or 2025 EVI (at least 100 points); entrance exam in the specialty (at least 100 points); interview on professional issues and scientific essay (at least 100 points); exam in philosophy (at least 100 points).
