Ensemble of modern dance "ESTET"

The team was created in 2000. B. Kolnoguzenko, and the abbreviation of the name means "Experimental Student Theater of Variety Dance". Subsequently, it was led by Yana and V. Pavlenki, L. Markov, V. Reznik. Since 2010 the artistic director and chief choreographer of the contemporary dance ensemble "ESTET" is the laureate of international competitions E. Yanina-Ledovskaya. Along with her, the laureate of international competitions Elina Samoilova and Denis Paukstello works with the team. Thanks to their hard work, the ensemble became not only one of the best creative teams of our academy and Kharkov, but also of Ukraine. The repertoire of the ensemble consists of choreographic compositions, separate dance numbers and mini-performances different in content and styles and directions of modern choreographic art.

Over the years of his creative life, "ESTET" became the laureate and winner of the Grand Prix of the All-Ukrainian contests of modern pop dance "Dance knows no boundaries" (2001, Dnipropetrovsk), "Rhythms of Time" (2002, Lviv). In 2010 at the VI International Contemporary Dance Competition "Gold of Autumn-2010" (Lugansk), the contemporary dance ensemble of the KhDAK won the "Grand Prix" in the fight against creative groups of professional educational institutions of the choreographic direction, and in 2012 - received two first places in the category stylization of folk dance in the category "Small Group" for the number "Mute Cry" and in the category "Formation" for the number "Forest Song". In 2011 at the IV International Dance Festival "ART-VOMB" (Kharkov), the team became the gold medalist in the nomination "Stylization of folk dance"; at the I International Festival of subject-shaped dance (Kharkov), "ESTET" ensemble with the choreographic composition "Two Banks" became the silver medalist.

In 2012 artists of the modern dance ensemble "ESTET" participated in creative programs and solemn events of the city of Kharkov on the occasion of the UEFA Championship "EURO-2012" and in the final competition of the television dance show "MAYDAH 'S". In 2013 at the All-Ukrainian Open Festival of Choreographic Art "White Stork" (Dnepropetrovsk), the ensemble received two first places in the category of professionals in the nominations "Ensemble" and "Small Forms". In 2014 at the IV All-Ukrainian Festival-Competition of Folk Choreography named after Pavel Virsky (Kyiv), "ESTET" ensemble won the third place in the nomination "Stylization of Folk Dance", and in 2016 at the V All-Ukrainian Festival-Competition of Folk Choreography named after Pavel Virsky (Kyiv), the team won the II place in the nomination "Stylization of Folk Dance".

In 2016. artists of the ensemble "ESTET" received the Grand Prix of the IV International Competition of Modern Choreographic Art "Superdance - 2016" (Lviv), in 2017. the ensemble took the first place at the festival-competition "Student Spring" (Kharkov). In 2018. the team received a diploma of the III degree at the II International Competition named after G. Almazadeh (Baku, Azeybarjan), won the Grand Prix at the International Competition "Golden Fleece" (Baku, Georgia), received the Grand Prix at the International Festival-Competition "Golden Fleece" (Kharkov) and won the XVII All-Ukrainian Russian Open Festival of Choreographic Art "White Stork" (Dnepropetrovsk) - I place in the nomination "Modern Choreography".

    
    

Every year, the team took an active part in the creative events of Kharkov, which are held under the auspices of the Department of Science and Education of the Kharkov Regional State Administration. Three times the ensemble participated in the report of masters of arts and creative teams of Slobozhanshchina in Kyiv on the stage of the National Palace "Ukraine" (2001, 2005, 2009). The group of the ensemble adequately represented the art of the native academy and Ukraine during creative trips to Italy, Slovakia, the Czech Republic. October 2022 "ESTET" won the IV European multi-genre competition-festival "Shining Star of France" (Paris, France).

In 2002, by the decision of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, the ensemble was recognized as "the best creative team of 2002" and its artists received a special prize from the governor of Kharkiv region. In 2011 "ESTET" received the Certificate of Honor of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration. E. Yanina-Ledovska as the head of the creative team has recognition among specialists, awards of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, Kharkov Regional State Administration, Kharkov City Council, National Choreographic Union of Ukraine.

Thanks to the participation in the work of the contemporary dance ensemble "ESTET", applicants improve their performing and acting skills, gain practical experience in rehearsal work, organizing concert performances, competitions, festivals and competitions. In addition, studying and performing repertoire numbers, they study in more detail the currents and directions in the stormy sea of modern choreography.
