professor of the department of actor's mastery
About the teacher. He graduated from the Kyiv State Institute of Theater Arts. K. Karpenko-Kary, in 1975, specialty: "Drama Directing", qualification: "Drama Theater Director". In KhSAC since 1996.
The names of the disciplines taught: "Mastery of the actor", "Modern theater schools", "Specificity of the actor's work in the music and drama theater", "Work of the actor in the poetic theater and cinema", "Methods of teaching professional disciplines".
Teaching and administrative activities. He held the positions of director (Zaporizhzhya State Music and Drama Theater), chief director (Zaporizhzhya Theater for Children and Youth, Ivano-Frankivsk Music and Drama Theater named after I. Franko, Kharkov State Academic Ukrainian Drama Theater named after T. G. Shevchenko). Until 2015 headed the department of mastery of the actor KhSAC. Until July 2024 served as dean of the faculty of performing arts.
Scientific and creative achievements, advanced training.
I. O. Borys is the founder and founder of the artistic acting school of the experimental workshop of theatrical research "ECMATEDOS" (experimental workshop of theatrical research) at KhSAC.
2023-2024 art school "ECMATEDOS" (as part of a student of the Department of Mastery of Actor Alexander Lyubchenko, Sofia Noyabrskaya and Julia Shevchenko), speaking with the creative project "Others" based on the dramatic work of Jean-Paul Sartre "Behind Closed Doors", became a laureate of international competitions, namely:
1. 03.09.2023. - winner of the Grand Prix in the nomination "Original Art" of the international festival "Stars of Paris" (France) of the European Youth League;
2. September 2023 - I place at the international festival "CHARMING VIENNA" (Vienna, Austria) of the European Youth League;
3. September 2023 - I place at the international festival "ROMAN HOLIDAY" (Rome, Italy) of the European Youth League;
4. September 2023 - Grand Prix at the international festival "PHARAON CUP" (Egypt) of the European Youth League;
5. November 2023 - Laureate of the 1st degree of the international festival "BARCELONA CUP" (Spain) of the European Youth League;
6. November 2023 - Grand Prix of the international competition "RAPSODIA POLSKA" (Poland) of the international project "Ukraine-Poland";
7. December 2023 - 1st place at the distance international festival-competition "CHRISTMAS IN NEW YORK" (USA);
8. February 2024 - 1st place at the distance international festival-competition "BALTIC FEST". International project Ukraine - Finland - Lithuania - Latvia - Czech Republic;
9. March 2024 - "EKMATEDOS" - 1st place at the international distance festival-competition of the Alley of Stars of Ukraine "Berlin: Talents of Europe" (students Alexandra Lyubchenko, Sofia Noyabrskaya, graduate Julia Shevchenko).
10. October 2024. - 1st place at the Canadian-Ukrainian festival of children's and youth creativity "TORONTO 2024" (Canada, Toronto).
Organizer of the interregional theater festival "Theater of the Future" on the basis of KSAC (since 2014).
The author of television programs on Kharkov regional television dedicated to M. Khvylyov, I. Franku, L. Ukrainka, L. Kurbas and modern trends in the development of theatrical art in Ukraine.
Member of the National Union of Theater Workers of Ukraine.
From September 04, 2023 to October 15, 2023, he completed advanced training (international scientific and pedagogical internship) at the University of Kujava in Wroclavec (Wroclavek, Republic of Poland) without interruption from his main job in the amount of 180 hours (6 ECTS credits). The topic of the internship: "Effective methods of teaching disciplines to students in the field of knowledge "Culture and Art": the experience of the Republic of Poland". Certificate No. CSI-040901-KSW dated 15.10.2023 was obtained.
In 2023, according to the results of the exam, he received a V2 language certificate (English) in Wyższa Szkoła Lingwistyczna (WSL), series KJ-A No. 23/05/63 of May 20, 2023.

Research interests: Traditions and modern development of the national professional school of education of actors and directors; Current trends in the development of theater in the world of globalization; Methods of teaching the discipline "Skill of the actor".
Estimated number of publications: The author of more than 50 scientific and methodological works.
