Scientific and creative achievements, advanced training. P. Kuchin is a member of the editorial board of the collection of scientific works "Social and Humanitarian Bulletin" (Society "Science and Knowledge"). Since 1990 - artistic director of the New Theater (Kharkov).
December 2022 participated in a master class of teachers on the skill of the actor on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the founding of the Ukrainian Coryphaeus Theater under the direction of M. Kropyvnytsky.
Member of the National Union of Theater Workers of Ukraine.
Permanent member of the review commission of the Department of Science and Education of the Kharkov Regional State Administration for the assignment and confirmation of the honorary titles "People's Art Collective" and "Exemplary Art Collective" to the creative teams of educational institutions of the Kharkov region.
From October 02 to December 22, 2023 completed an internship at the Kharkov National University of Arts. P. Kotlyarevsky on the topic: "Improving the pedagogical skills and professional level of scientific and pedagogical workers in order to improve the educational process" (reference No. 01-23/195 of 07.02.2024).

Research interests: Features of the rehearsal and staging process of work on the play; Methods of teaching the discipline "Skill of the actor".
