On February 14, 2025,
the Second All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference
dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture
"Pianistic Traditions of Kharkov: History and Modernity" will be held


Scientific discussion is envisaged in the following thematic areas:
  • 1. Figures of prominent figures of piano performing art in the cultural and artistic space of Kharkov and Ukraine in the second half of the 19th - 21st centuries;
  • 2. The history of the formation of piano departments and departments in the art educational institutions of Kharkov and Ukraine, creative relations between regional performing schools;
  • 3. Features of the development of piano schools in Ukraine at the present stage, problems and challenges.

The conference will be held online on the Zoom platform. The conference program with the necessary links will be posted on the eve of the conference on the official website of KhSAC - https://ic.ac.kharkov.ua/. Working languages: Ukrainian, English.

In connection with the martial law, participation in the conference is free of charge. As a result of the conference, participants will receive a conference program, electronic certificates for 6 or 12 hours of advanced training.
