Procedure for admission to internship

Enrollment for an internship at the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture takes place upon submission to the Center for Continuing Education and Public Relations of the following documents:

- direction, indicating the term of internship and the department of the academy, where the internship will take place;
- Individual Internship Program, approved at the department where the trainee works, with a visa of the person responsible for increasing the qualification in the higher educational institution where the trainee works;
- excerpt from the minutes of the meeting of the department (cycle commission), where the intern works, on sending for internship to KhSAC.

Documents for internship are accepted no later than 2 weeks before the start of the internship.

Enrollment of teachers for internship is carried out by order of the rector of the Kharkov State Academy of Culture.

The Department of the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture, for which the trainee is assigned, from among the leading specialists appoints him the head of the internship, who oversees the internship.

At the end of the internship, the intern must arrange report, which is approved at a meeting of the department, where the internship took place. The head of the internship makes a mark with a conclusion in his report on the progress and results of the internship and, if necessary, gives a written review of the work of the intern. The report must be issued in 3 copies, which are provided:
- the Center for Continuing Education and Public Relations;
- to the department of the academy, where the internship took place;
- to the department at the place of the trainee's main work.

The Department of the Academy, where the internship took place, should provide the Center for Continuing Education and Public Relations with 2 excerpts from the minutes of the department meeting:
- on the approval of an individual internship program (at the beginning of the internship);
- on the approval of the report of the trainee (after the completion of the internship).

Documents required for internship:
1) For teachers of other institutions undergoing internships at KhSAC:
- Referral;
- Individual internship program;
- Report on the implementation of the individual internship program.
2) For teachers of KhSAC who undergo internships in other institutions:
- Application;
- Referral;
- Individual internship program;
- Report on the implementation of an individual internship program.

Upon completion of the internship, in case of timely submission of a report of the established form, the trainee receives a certificate of internship of the established form.

The procedure for settlements and the cost of services for persons who improve their qualifications is carried out by the accounting service of KSAC.
The amount of fees for education, training, retraining, advanced training is carried out on the basis of Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated August 27, 2010 No. 796 "On approval of the list of paid services that can be provided by educational institutions, other institutions and institutions of the education system belonging to the state and communal ownership".

Advanced training at KhSAC

The Center for Continuing Education and Public Relations conducts internships for scientific and pedagogical workers of higher education institutions, pedagogical workers of general secondary, extracurricular and professional pre-higher education institutions at all departments of the academy in the following specialties: cultural studies; information, library and archival affairs; museology, monument studies; management of sociocultural activities; stage art; choreography; audiovisual art and production; musical art; management; tourism; journalism; Psychology.

Internship takes place both on a paid basis and on a free basis in accordance with agreements on cooperation in the field of advanced training.

Internship period up to 6 months depending on the needs of the HEI, which sends for internship. Sample documents can be obtained from the Center for Continuing Education and Public Relations (room 35) in paper or electronic form.
